Anyone else getting overwhelmed by their seemingly out-of-reach resolutions for the New Year? We feel you. For 2026, instead of making resolutions we know will fade into oblivion in about a week’s time, we’ve made a list of Ins and Outs to help us navigate the new year in a way that feels authentic and on-brand. Instead of resolving to spend every day of the week in the gym, we’re prioritizing getting outside and touching grass. Rather than trying to cut out mindless screen time altogether, we’re finding ways to help us avoid the doom scroll.

No more feeling guilty for falling short of perfection; this year, we are focusing on the guiding stars that will allow us to get closer to the best versions of ourselves. If this resonates with you, keep reading. We’ve created a few guides that feature some of our favourite gear – they’re not just the best tried-and-true supplies out there, they’re also the goods that we know will let you prioritize your wellbeing, whatever that looks like. Planning that bucket list trip this year? Trying to limit your intake of takeout? We’ve got you!

In: Spending More Time Outside

As soon as the temperature goes below zero, it’s so easy to stay holed up inside. We’re here to remind you that, regardless of the forecast, never seeing the sun or touching grass (snow?) will only make you feel worse! There’s nothing better than bundling all the way up and not even feeling the chill on your digestion walk, or the feeling of warming up to a comfortable temperature when doing a high-output activity. With the right tools, you can make getting outside enjoyable – even in the cold. So, grab your toque and your fleece and get out there!

Out: Doomscrolling

Sometimes after a long, stressful day, it feels SO good to turn off your brain for some mindless scroll time before bed. We’re going to challenge you to try something new – no more blue light straight to the retinas right before trying to fall asleep, or first-thing-in-the-morning Twitter scroll to set the day off on a terrible foot. We’re replacing that time with a good book on the couch, or an hour of puzzling with friends, or a family-friendly board game with the whole crew. We promise you, you’ll be feeling better about yourself – and the world – in no time.

In: Taking It Slow

We’re all for challenging ourselves, for getting active and getting outside, but within our culture of grinding & growing, it can be so easy to forget the importance of taking it easy. Sometimes the body is calling for a bit of gentleness and slowness, and in those moments, it’s important to listen. We can’t hope to care for our community unless we’ve taken care of ourselves, too. Whether your “taking it slow” looks like a peaceful candlelit bath, or a cozy evening on the couch with a good book, we’ve got you. Let the tranquility & self-love commence.

Out: Eating Out

This past year has been rough on our wallets, and a huge culprit for us is just how easy it is to leave the house and spend $20. Overpriced coffees, yummy little pastries, a sandwich that would’ve cost less than $5 to make at home but somehow you paid $17.99 + tax and tip… they may be tempting, but a bit of organization in the kitchen could’ve saved us a whole lot of money! Here’s a collection of our favourite kitchen essentials, including recipe books, lunch kits, condiments, and coffee staples to help you cut those extra costs and make the most of your groceries.

In: Checking Off Our Bucket List

We may not be a travel agency (like, at all), but we may be able to help you prepare for that trip you’ve finally booked for this year. Stop dreaming about it – this is the year you make it happen! Is it a beach vacation? A backpacking adventure? A dreamy West Coast roadtrip? Whether you need a reliable sunscreen, a versatile travel bag, or a technical layer, you’ll find it here.
